North Carolina A&T’s Jahnathan Lamothe named CAA Co-Player of the Week

For his recent hardwood exploits North Carolina A&T guard Jahnathan Lamothe was named CAA Co-Player of the Week. The sophomore guard averaged 24.0 points, 9 rebounds, and .5 steals per game as he helped the Aggies go 2-0 last week, notching their first consecutive wins back-to-back wins over The Citadel and Morgan State in November. 

Against Campbell Lamothe scored 25 points, including a key three-pointer that put the Aggies back in the lead with under a minute to go that helped NCAT defeat the Camels, 53-50. 

The Baltimore, MD native put in 3 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Aggies’ 73-72 win over Stony Brook. 

On the season, Lamothe is posting per-game averages of 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 steals.
